Job Description
Prepare soups, sauces, vegetables, roast meats, and cook-to-order items according to established specifications and recipes. Inspect equipment, spices, and food products to ensure quality standards. Maintain inventory levels and order stock as needed.

Job Functions

  • Prepare various food items following standardized recipes.
  • Inspect equipment and ingredients to ensure quality.
  • Monitor and order inventory to maintain stock levels.
  • Ensure proper storage, rotation, and quantity controls.
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures consistently.
  • Keep work stations and storage areas clean.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and monitor food production quality.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience as a prep cook.
  • Knowledge of various cooking styles, techniques, and recipes.
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
  • Physical ability to reach, grasp, bend, kneel, and twist.
  • Ability to obtain necessary licenses/certifications.
