Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant in Franklin, TN is seeking Prep Cooks to join our kitchen team. This is a great position to grow in the restaurant industry; we cross-train and promote from within.

The Prep Cook prepares a variety of foods—meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads—using a range of equipment per the Daily Prep List. They may perform minor machine maintenance and assist with plating and garnishing.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a professional restaurant kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of foods (meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads) per the Daily Prep List.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment and set up ingredients for production.
• Assist with plating, garnishing and final plate presentation.
