  • We are hiring immediately for full time and part time PREP COOK positions.
  • Location: Mayo Clinic - 310 West Main Street, Sparta, WI 54656. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full time and part time schedules. Days may vary, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, including rotating weekends and holidays; more details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
  • Pay Range: $19.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers following applicable standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain daily production schedules from the Chef.
  • Prepare items according to recipes and quantities.
  • Complete production worksheets and quality checks.
  • Operate and clean equipment per procedures.
  • Store and label food items following HACCP guidelines.
  • Document all required reports and logs.
  • Follow health and sanitation regulations.
  • Take customer orders and prepare quick-service items.
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
  • Use approved recipes and standards for quality and safety.
  • Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
