We are hiring immediately for a full-time PREP COOK position.

Location: Crate & Barrel - 1250 Techny Road, Northbrook, IL 60062. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous culinary or food service experience required.

Pay Range: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items following established recipes and quantities.
• Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs. Taste meals to ensure quality.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use.
• Store, label, and date all food items according to policy, following HACCP guidelines.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and logs.
• Follow health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
• Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper portions.
• Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
