Qualifications

• Experience in food service preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and production sheets.
• Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and food safety.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate and clean kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Completes production worksheets and waste logs; tastes meals for quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes required documentation and reports; adheres to health and sanitation regulations.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short prep time.
• Serves customers efficiently and cheerfully; handles orders from steam tables and grills.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure correct quality and portion control.
• Resolves customer concerns; performs other duties as assigned.
