Cheeky Charleston SC is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team in a high-energy, seafood-focused environment. You will prep ingredients, assist line cooks, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen during lunch and dinner shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a high volume, high quality kitchen.
• Reliable, focused, and eager to learn.
• Organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast paced, high volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and basic components according to recipes and prep lists.
• Wash, chop, portion, label and store food items following safety standards.
• Assist line cooks and chefs in preparing for service.
• Maintain a clean and organized prep station and kitchen environment.
• Support daily cleaning and closing procedures.
• Follow all health, sanitation and safety procedures consistently.
