Row 34 Portsmouth is seeking a detail-oriented Prep Cook to support the culinary team in Portsmouth. You will assist in ingredient preparation and basic cooking tasks, following recipes and portion control guidelines.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, cooking and assembling dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and coordinating with the team to ensure timely service. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Past Prep Cook or similar role is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food prep techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients per recipes and guidelines.
• Assist in cooking and assembling dishes like soups, salads, and appetizers.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper food storage in the kitchen area.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food prep during busy periods.
• Collaborate with Head Chef and Sous Chef to meet quality and presentation standards.
