Job summary

Blackstone Consulting, Inc is hiring for prep cooks for our Corporate Caffè client in Cupertino, CA. The position offers $21.75/hr plus a $20 daily meal voucher, working in a fast-paced, in-person kitchen environment.

Qualifications include ServSafe/certified handling, customer service experience, and prior cooking duties. English communication is required, with duties ranging from cooking to order to line prep and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Certificate in food handling/sanitation methods, or ServSafe certified preferred.
• Experienced in customer service
• Strong work ethics
• History of related Food Service experience
• Prior cook experience in fast pace/high volume environments
• Ability to prepare and cook to order foods with short prep times
• Ability to read food orders and cook to instructions
• Ability to perform progressive cooking
• English communication required

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks to order foods with short prep time.
• Reads orders or instructions and cooks accordingly.
• Replenishes serving line and maintains speed of service.
• Performs fast food and grill cooking for customer orders.
• Delivers high quality service to customers at all times.
• Follows recipes and product directions for cooking and serving.
• Operates kitchen equipment to prepare ingredients and meals.
• Tastes, checks production, and plans production with supplies.
• May select recipes per menu cycle and handle inventory.
• Cleans workstations and equipment and follows safety rules.
