Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time Prep Cook at Rockhurst in Kansas City, MO. The role prepares food to standard recipes and serves meals in a fast-paced school dining environment.

Experience in food prep, kitchen and sanitation is required. The position offers $19.00–$21.00 per hour, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with additional evening, weekend and event availability as needed.

Free meals and uniforms are provided at select locations.

Qualifications

• Previous food prep, kitchen and sanitation experience required.
• Ability to follow standard recipes and portions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items per production sheets and recipes.
• Operates and cleans kitchen equipment after use.
• Stores and labels food items according to policy.
• Follows HACCP guidelines for food safety and quality.
• Takes and prepares items with short prep time for customers.
• Assists with daily production worksheets and waste logs.
