Compass Group USA’s Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time Prep Cook at Rockhurst, Kansas City, MO. Work Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM; evenings, weekends and events may be required.

This role requires prior food prep, kitchen and sanitation experience and offers $19.00–$21.00 per hour with benefits and meal/uniform provisions. As a Prep Cook you’ll follow recipes, prepare items per production schedules, maintain HACCP practices and provide friendly service to customers.

Qualifications

• Previous food prep, kitchen, and sanitation experience is required.
• Ability to work in a production kitchen following recipes and production sheets.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Operates, cleans, and maintains equipment per department procedures.
• Follows HACCP guidelines and food safety procedures.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items per policy.
• Takes orders from customers and serves at multiple stations.
• Resolves customer concerns and ensures quality and service standards.
