Popeyes is hiring a Prep Cook / Back of House Team Member in New York. Join a fast-paced, team‑oriented kitchen where your attention to detail and teamwork shine as you help prepare our famous menu items.

This role offers growth opportunities, flexible scheduling, and meal discounts, with shifts that may include days, nights, weekends and holidays. You will work across stations, follow recipes and build charts, maintain cleanliness, and support cooks and managers to deliver great Cajun

Formación

• Detail-oriented with pride in food presentation and accuracy.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment around hot equipment.
• Able to follow recipes, build charts, and standard procedures.
• Strong communication skills with team members and managers.
• Willingness to learn and work multiple stations.
• Physically able to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and move throughout shifts.
• Eligible to work in the United States and meet minimum age requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble sandwiches and menu items following Popeye's build charts and standards.
• Prepare and portion sides like fries, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and red beans and rice.
• Prepare and bake hot biscuits.
• Set up and maintain sandwich, prep, and side stations during shifts.
• Keep prep and assembly areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Prep ingredients and restock supplies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with cooks, front-of-house team, and managers.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures strictly.
• Assist with dishwashing, trash, and end-of-day cleaning tasks.
• Support the team by learning and working multiple stations.
