Global Partners LP is seeking a Prep Cook in Massachusetts to bring our fresh menu to life. You’ll prepare and cook high-quality dishes while upholding strict food safety, consistency, and presentation standards.

Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and take pride in using fresh, local ingredients in a team-driven environment. Must be 18+ with 1–2 years of kitchen experience; flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Execution

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items following company recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Execute daily prep lists efficiently while maintaining freshness and quality.
• Operate and maintain all kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Ensure all food items are properly labeled, dated, and rotated according to food safety standards.
• Support daily production of grab-and-go items, specials, and made-to-order dishes.

Food Safety & Sanitation

• Follow all food safety, allergen, and sanitation procedures consistently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all health department guidelines and company policies.
• Report any unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning checklists.

Teamwork & Communication

• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors during service and prep times.
• Support training of new kitchen staff as directed by management.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude in all interactions.

Guest Experience & Brand Standards

• Ensure every plate meets Alltown Fresh standards for taste, freshness, and presentation.
• Take pride in producing food that enhances the guest experience and reflects our brand values.
• Support the Alltown Fresh commitment to creating moments of connection and hospitality, even behind the scenes.

Pay Range

$17.17 - $20.61 The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
