Duties And Responsibilities

All Paradies Lagardère positions, including Prep Cook, require embodying a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service with a smile to customers and team members.   • Maintain a professional company image by adhering to all grooming and uniform guidelines, including slip-resistant shoes.
  • Food preparation at 100% recipe adherence, following recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, portioning, and serving food items.
  • Follow production prep list and keep accurate records. Requisition supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Wash, slice, and peel items on prep list.
  • Follow recipes and store prepared food items safely with proper date labeling.
  • Follow all brand standards related to food safety, sanitation, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction.
  • Practice excellent food safety and sanitation, complying with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Restock kitchen supplies and food items regularly.
  • Assist with ordering and planning food supplies, as directed.
  • Report equipment repair and maintenance needs.
  • Monitor proper rotation and dating of food items and storage areas.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, Certifications
  • Minimum 1 year of related cooking experience; high-volume or fast-casual experience preferred.
  • ServeSafe Certification or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and exercise good judgment with guests.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Position Qualifications
  • Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills in English.
  • Self-starter with ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and situations.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform essential functions such as standing, bending, reaching, and walking long distances.
  • Ability to work in environments with high heat, steam, and odors.
