Job summary

Vail Mountain is seeking a Prep Cook for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 season in Vail, CO. You will join the Food & Beverage team and contribute to delivering an exceptional Experience of a Lifetime for guests and staff.

Starting wage is $20/hr with full-time seasonal shifts. Training is provided; English fluency is required, and housing may be available. This role supports a dynamic resort environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• No formal culinary experience required.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Make connections with guests and coworkers.
• Share our passion for the mountains during service.
• Follow the leadership guidelines as outlined in daily pre-shift meetings.
• Prepare a range of food items in a fun, teamwork-oriented environment.
• Maintain clean and tidy workstations throughout and at the end of the workday.
• Other duties as assigned.

The expected pay range is$20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
