The Renfrew Center of Coconut Creek, FL is seeking a Prep Cook/Cook to join our kitchen team, preparing patient meals and supporting food service operations. This role involves tray assembly, line cooking, and ensuring accurate portioning in a compassionate care setting.

We value dedicated team players with 3–5 years of kitchen experience. A background in dietary healthcare or culinary training is a plus, and you must be able to lift 25 lbs and work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years previous kitchen or healthcare food service experience.
• Dietary healthcare background is a plus.
• Hospitality or culinary training is beneficial.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Patient tray preparation, food preparation, and serving meals.
• Putting away inventory, managing stock rotation, dishwashing, sanitation, and general kitchen clean-up.
• May need to jump in and help cook if needed.
• Responsible for the preparation of menu items
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment and being attentive to patient needs

Requirements
