North Italia in Omaha, NE is seeking a part-time prep cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare handmade Italian dishes from scratch, following our trusted recipes and standards.

We offer $18.00–$20.00 per hour, health benefits after 25 hours/week, PTO after 25 hours, free shift meals, a 35% dining discount, up to 50% next-day pay, and a GED/Associates degree program to support your growth with us.

• Experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable standing for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Prepare delicious Italian dishes from scratch following the recipe to produce consistent results.
• Complete your prep list, run your station during the shift, follow all specs, and stock food as needed.
• Rinse and cut raw food products.
• Portion all products, follow recipes, and ensure attractive plate presentation.
• Keep the workstation clean and organized, following sanitation standards and food handling rules.

• Keep it clean! Follow the sanitation standards, make sure your work station stays clean and organized, and follow all of the food handling standards

Qualifications

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and, while experience is preferred, it’s not required. You should have good English communication skills, comfortable standing for long periods of time, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
