Job summary

North Italia in Huntsville, part of The Cheesecake Factory family, is hiring prep cooks. The role offers solid hourly pay with room to grow, flexible scheduling, and benefits after 25 hours per week, including medical, dental and vision, plus PTO and meal perks.

You’ll prepare Italian dishes from scratch, manage your station, rinse and prep ingredients, portion plates, and keep your area clean. English communication skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lb are required.

• Comfortable standing for long periods and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Italian dishes from scratch following recipes for consistent results.
• Complete prep list, run station during shifts, stock food as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare our delicious Italian dishes from scratch while following the recipe to produce consistent results
• Complete your prep list, effectively run your station during the shift, follow all specs, and stock food as needed
• Rinse and cut raw food products
• Portion all the products, follow the recipes, and always ensure the plate presentation looks beautiful
• Keep it clean! Follow the sanitation standards, make sure your work station stays clean and organized, and follow all of the food handling standards

Qualifications:

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and, while experience is preferred, it’s not required. You should have good English communication skills, comfortable standing for long periods of time, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
