Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Windsor Run in Matthews, NC is seeking a Prep Cook to join our culinary team. You’ll contribute to Signature Dining Programs, engage in à la minute cooking, and create chef-inspired dishes in a state-of-the-art kitchen.

We offer starting at $17/hour, PTO, medical/dental/vision benefits, a 401(k) with 3% match, and a 30% on-site dining discount. Weekend and holiday shifts are required, with growth opportunities within Erickson’s growing community network.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.

• Assist in the consistent preparation of all food items according to proper safety and cooking techniques.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and work station.
• Use culinary talents to prepare and assemble high quality menu items that drive resident satisfaction.

You will contribute to our Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and creating chef-inspired dishes, while working with a dedicated team in state-of-the-art kitchens and using top-notch equipment.
