Clayton is hiring a Bistro Prep Cook to support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced setting. You will wash, measure, and portion ingredients, prepare sauces and garnishes, and ensure proper storage and labeling.

Responsibilities

  • Washes, cuts, measures, and portions ingredients according to recipes and production needs.
  • Prepares basic components such as sauces, dressings, and garnishes.
  • Labels, dates, and properly stores prepared ingredients.
  • Stocks and organizes prep stations and kitchen supplies for service.
  • Assists cooks with basic recipe preparation and food assembly.
  • Ensures ingredients are readily available to support efficient workflow.
  • Follows all food handling, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • Maintains proper food storage and temperature controls.
  • Comply with company policies and local health regulations.
  • Cleans and sanitizes work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Maintains an organized and hazard-free kitchen environment.
  • Assists with dishwashing and waste disposal as needed confirms work is accurate and in compliance with instructions and established procedures.
