California Pizza Kitchen in Manhattan Beach is seeking a part-time Prep Cook to join our team and support a ROCKS culture focused on respect, opportunities, communication, kindness, and epic service.

As a Prep Cook you will follow our recipes, assist in receiving goods, conduct daily inventory, and maintain proper storage and rotation. You will practice safe handling and help with opening/closing duties while contributing to a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes, procedures, specs, and techniques to prepare foods.
• Assist in the receiving of goods and daily inventory of prepared foods.
• Maintain proper storage and rotation of products; ensure sanitation and safe handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment.
• Maintain proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift.
