Job Summary

Prep Cooks are responsible for the timely preparation of raw foods and fresh products for line cooks. Duties include washing and cleaning raw food, peeling, dicing, shredding, and slicing food using provided equipment, following recipes and procedures, checking quality and rotation of prepped items, and portioning meats, dressings, and cheeses. They must display excellent knife skills, safely slicing or chopping ingredients into exact portions as required by recipes.
