An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Food Preparer to join their team. General Purpose:
The Food Preparer is responsible for preparing various food products.
Essential Duties:
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stand, use hands, talk, hear, taste, and smell. Regularly walk and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Work regularly occurs in extreme heat (non-weather) and near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally work in extreme cold (non-weather), wet or humid conditions (non-weather), near toxic or caustic chemicals, and outdoors. Noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
Food Safety and Sanitation Training.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform job duties, including communicating with English-speaking customers or co-workers and understanding manuals in English.
