Athenian Grill in Lexington, KY is looking for a Prep Cook to be the engine behind every plate we serve. You’ll chop, marinate, and portion ingredients for our Mediterranean menu and prep sauces, dressings, and sides to recipe standards.

We value reliability, organization, and a strong work ethic. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow food safety procedures. Prep or kitchen experience is a plus; immediate hire for the right person.

Pay: $16–$22/hr based on experience

Location: Athenian Grill, 313 South Ashland Avenue, Lexington, KY

Can you dice an onion like it owes you money? Do you get weirdly satisfied by a perfectly labeled, perfectly stocked walk-in? Athenian Grill on South Ashland needs an awesome Prep Cook to be the engine behind every plate we serve. The line can't cook what you haven't prepped, so you'll basically be the hero of the kitchen.

What you'll do:

• Chop, slice, marinate, and portion fresh ingredients for our Mediterranean menu
• Prep sauces, dressings, and sides to recipe standards
• Label, date, and rotate product so everything stays fresh
• Keep your station and the walk-in clean, stocked, and organized
