Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
3. Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Tastes completed meals to ensure quality.
4. Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
5. Stores, labels, and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
6. Completes all required documentation, reports, logs as required.
7. Complies with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
8. Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation time.
9. Serves customers efficiently and courteously.
10. Completes orders from steam tables and grills, serving customers at multiple stations.
11. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
12. Operates and cleans equipment after each use.
13. Stores, labels, and dates all food items according to policy.
14. Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety and quality.
15. Resolves customer concerns effectively.
16. Performs other duties as assigned.
