Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Woodleigh Chase in Fairfax, VA is hiring a Prep Cook who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen. You will contribute to Signature Dining Programs, perform à la minute cooking, and create chef-inspired dishes alongside a dedicated culinary team.

Starting pay is $18 to $21 per hour, based on experience, with bi-weekly pay. Full-time schedules run 12:00pm–8:30pm or 11:00am–7:30pm, and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience required and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the consistent preparation of all food items according to safety and cooking techniques.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and workstation.

Join our team as a Prep Cook if you’re passionate about food and teamwork, with culinary experience. You will contribute to our Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and creating chef-inspired dishes, while working with a dedicated team in state-of-the-art kitchens and using top-notch equipment.

Compensation: Starting at $18 - Max at $21, Per hour. Based on experience, paid Bi-Weekly!

Schedule: Full-Time from 12:00pm - 8:30pm or 11:00am - 7:30pm | Saturday Availability Required

What you will need

• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays. Flexible!
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers
