Job summary

SSP America is hiring Prep Cooks in Detroit to prepare dishes and keep the kitchen organized so the team has the tools needed each shift. You will work in the Back of House within SSP America's restaurant portfolio at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, including Chili's, Max & Erma's, Sora Japanese Cuisine, Coffey Beanery, and more.

Team members are expected to be friendly with guests, respect customers, follow detailed food preparation processes, and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station daily.
• Stock and requisition of all required food, paper products, and condiments.
• Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
• Set up, maintain, clean, and breakdown machinery and equipment.
• Maintain stock, cut, and store perishables daily to ensure product quality.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
• Ensure quality of products served.
• Perform cleaning tasks using standard products as assigned by supervisor.

Here are a few things you can expect as a Prep Cook at SSP America:

• Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
