Job summary

The Snooze Boulder is a full-service breakfast restaurant seeking a Prep Cook to join our energetic kitchen team. You will ensure quality, food safety, and timely dish execution while maintaining a clean, organized station in a fast-paced environment.

Earn $18.50–$22.00 per hour with weekly pay, medical/dental/vision plans, and options for growth as we create memorable mornings for our guests. Join us and become part of our welcoming team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the restaurant industry.
• Fast-paced environment experience; 6+ months in high-volume preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with teammates and management.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 100% responsibility for quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served.
• Be well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation basics.
• Prepares a variety of food items using knives, mixers, blenders, processors, scales, and portion bags.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station including tables, broilers, sauté, ovens, griddles, and refrigeration.
• Handles, stores, and rotates products properly per health department standards and Snooze guidelines.
• Closes kitchen properly and follows opening/closing checklists for deep cleaning tasks.

The Position Specifics

• Assumes 100% responsibility for the quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishesserved
• Responsible for being well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/basic safetyinformation
• Prepares a variety of food items using knives, electric mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, scales, and portionbags
• Shows up when scheduled and prepares, stocks, and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smoothservice
• Maintains a clean and sanitarywork stationincluding tables, shelves, broilers, sauté, burners, ovens, flat top griddles, and refrigeration equipment both during and afterservice
• Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly in accordance with health department standards and Snoozy Sanitation guidelines
• Closes the kitchen properly and follows the opening and closing checklist for kitchen stationscompleting deep clean projects as dictated by the managementteam

• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US.

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
