A new eatery in Andover, Point 9 Trailside Eatery, is seeking experienced Prep Cooks to support kitchen operations by preparing and staging ingredients for a full menu. Point 9 Trailside Eatery opens this June right off the Redbud Trail—and we’re looking for experienced Prep Cooks to help us create exceptional food for every guest!
As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for supporting kitchen operations by preparing and staging ingredients for our full menu. This includes washing, chopping, portioning, preparing, and labeling ingredients, as well as assisting chefs with various tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a strong ability to work independently.

Como Cocinero de Preparación, serás responsable de apoyar las operaciones de la cocina preparando e organizando los ingredientes para nuestro menú completo. Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients through processes such as washing, peeling, slicing, and chopping
Follow recipes to accurately prepare sauces, spreads, and other cold items
Measure and portion ingredients according to recipes and prep lists
Label, date, and properly store prepped items in accordance with food safety standards
Restock stations and supplies as needed throughout the shift
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and respond quickly to requests for help
Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Previous experience is preferred but not required
Ability to follow recipes and prep lists exactly
Ability to follow directions and work independently or collaboratively
Attention to detail and ability to maintain a fast pace of work
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
