PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at Oro Valley Surgical Suites

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with ongoing evaluation of their condition, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. Responsibilities include assisting physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation, sterile techniques, and providing comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Active RN license in the state
  • BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS certification as required by the center
  • Preferred: 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
