USPI Golden Ridge Surgery Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families

Preop/PACU Registered Nurse at Golden Ridge Surgery Center:

The RN PreOP/PACU plans, coordinates, and oversees care for patients of any age in PACU department. Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to other team members. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the manager, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits, and projects.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Active RN license in the state
  • BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
  • One year experience required intra-operative or Medical Surgical setting
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
