Job summary

Wickenburg Community Hospital in Wickenburg, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Pre-Op/PACU to deliver patient-centered perioperative care. This full-time professional role requires accurate documentation, medication administration, and collaboration with the perioperative team.

The RN will document on pre-operative records, assess admissions, and may cross-train to post-operative duties. ACLS/BLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Arizona Registered Nursing License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the pre-operative department and document on the pre-operative record.
• Administer pre-surgery medications, evaluate admission documents.
• Be cross-trained to post-operative duties.
• Proficient with computer documentation and peri-operative communications.
