Job Description

Advanced Surgery Center of Tampa is hiring a Preoperative Pacu Registered Nurse (Part Time). The RN PACU provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, evaluating their condition continuously, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy. The role may include assisting physicians in procedure rooms, managing conscious sedation, and maintaining sterile techniques. The nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for discharge preparation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
• Preferably 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
