Job summary

St. Charles Health System is seeking a dedicated RN to join the Preop Holding team in Bend, Oregon.

The nurse will provide patient- and family-centered care during the preoperative experience, coordinate with the care team, and ensure safe medication administration and accurate documentation in the EMR. The role requires current Oregon RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS on hire, along with acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon RN license and BLS; ACLS and PALS on hire.
• Minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience.
• BSN preferred; strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to wear PPE; knowledge of safety and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and plan care with clinical judgment.
• Administer medications accurately per policies.
• Document patient care in EMR and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with care teams and promote continuous improvement.
