Preop/Pacu RN at Park Cities Surgery Center:

Provides individualized direct patient care in accordance with site policies and procedures and established standards of nursing care and practice. Promotes restoration of health and achievement of patient health goals through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the delivery of patient care in an ambulatory care setting. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Active RN license in the state
  • BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
  • 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
