Job summary

The Johns Hopkins White Marsh Surgery Center is seeking an OR RN to support patients undergoing gender-affirming and diverse surgical procedures. The role requires recent OR circulating experience, an active Maryland or Compact RN license, and a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months recent RN experience required; Preop PACU experience required
• BSN from Accredited Nursing Program preferred, but applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a BSN program
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required at time of hire

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in the OR as circulating RN, with diverse case mix including gender affirming and various surgical procedures
• Provide high quality patient care and safe perioperative management throughout the surgical episode
• Collaborate with OR team to ensure patient safety, documentation, and communication throughout the shift
