Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System in Overland Park, KS seeks a Pre-Op/PACU RN to join the perianesthesia team. The role provides pre- and post-procedural care for inpatients and outpatients across main OR, GI suites, and select Radiology cases. Surgical specialties include Bariatrics, ENT, General, Gynecology/Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Urology, Vascular, and Robotics.

The position is full-time with day shifts, and the call response time is 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Associate degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Utilize nursing process in patient care.
• Supervise other patient care staff and delegate tasks.
• Coordinate the plan of care for assigned patients and consult with health care team as needed.
• Adhere to policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
