South Denver Surgery Center in Littleton, CO is seeking a Full-Time Preop/PACU RN to join our team. Under the supervision of the PACU manager, you will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care and monitor recovery from anesthesia.

We offer a $7,500 sign-on bonus, a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no weekends or calls, and attractive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Join a collaborative ambulatory care team focused on patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CO Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS.
• PACU/ICU experience required.
• ASC experience a plus.
• Good communication and human relations skills.
• Ability to organize and follow through on own initiative.
• Thorough knowledge of perioperative process including anesthesia implications.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of the Pre-Op/PACU manager, implement physician orders and provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Monitor patients' condition and ensure safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile technique as appropriate.
• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for discharge preparation.
