Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care in diverse, acute settings. The RN is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing, and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs.

Responsibilities include assessment and diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, plus active participation in process improvement to enhance quality and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from the State of Ohio or a multi-state compact.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis – Performs initial and ongoing health status assessment.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning – Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation – Evaluates responses and revises plan with the team.
• Leadership – Participates in process improvement for quality and safety.
• Operations – Performs nursing duties with focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
