Job Summary: The RN PreOp/PACU is a Registered Nurse who provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN PreOp/PACU provides safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Required Skills:

• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care; ASC experience is a plus
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, adaptability, creativity, and innovation
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
• Understanding of aseptic techniques
• Excellent teaching skills
• Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement principles
• Team player with strong communication skills with staff, patients, and physicians
