Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. (USPI) is hiring a PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse at Colorado Urologic Surgery Center - Superior. This role provides nursing care for patients before and after anesthesia, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the perioperative period.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, coordination with physicians, and assisting in procedure rooms with conscious sedation as required. Requires CO RN license, BLS/ACLS, and PACU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in CO required
• BLS and ACLS required, PALS if required by center
• 2 years PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Strong nursing judgement and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients passing through PreOp/PACU
• Monitor patient condition and ensure safety, comfort and privacy
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with sedation and sterile technique
• Prepare patients for discharge with appropriate instructions and follow-up
