Job summary

SurgCenter of Deer Valley is hiring a Full-Time PREOP/PACU/Procedural Registered Nurse to provide continuity and quality care for patients emerging from anesthesia, with ongoing assessment, planning, and evaluation to ensure safety, comfort, and privacy in recovery.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, active Arizona RN license, BLS and ACLS (PALS as required), and two years of PACU or critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• BLS and ACLS Certification; PALS if required by the center.
• Two years of PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients emerging from anesthesia.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for discharge readiness.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks and conscious sedation as appropriate.

PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at SurgCenter of Deer Valley The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
