Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking a Visual Associate to support on-floor merchandising, promotions, and signage. You will help prepare the selling floor before opening, assist in trunk shows and personal appearances, and ensure displays align with brand standards.

Strong fashion sense and trend knowledge are advantageous. Requires at least 2 years of visual team experience in a major department store, carpentry and painting skills, and proficiency with MS Office, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years visual team experience in a major multi-level department store with a portfolio of projects.
• Ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
• Experienced in painting techniques.
• Experience with production; knowledge of materials.
• Experienced in styling and fashion pulls.
• Strong knowledge of current fashion and art trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Photoshop, Illustrator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate initiative and urgency in selling floor readiness before store opening.
• Follow directives and corporate guidelines from Visual Manager and team.
• Execute promotional and sale setup including presentation, lettering, and signage.
• Assist replenishing merchandise on the selling floor and wall units.
• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
