Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue in Boston is seeking a knowledgeable Visual Merchandising Associate to craft compelling in-store environments, manage floor displays, and update mannequins according to visual standards.

You will support promotional setups, assist with trunk shows, and collaborate with the Visual Manager. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a department store visual team, carpentry and painting skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years visual team experience in a major department store.
• Ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
• Experience with painting techniques.
• Experience with basic production, knowledge of materials.
• Experienced in styling and fashion pulls.
• Strong knowledge of current fashion and art trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain engaging window displays and in-store visuals.
• Merchandise the selling floor and wall units per visual standards.
• Set up promotions and signage; assist trunk shows and personal appearances.
• Replenish merchandise on the floor and in wall units.
• Support ad hoc duties as needed.
