Job summary

The Premium Expo / Lead Food Runner is responsible for coordinating the timely and accurate delivery of food orders to premium suites while serving as the primary liaison between the kitchen and suite service teams. This role oversees Food Runners, ensures quality and presentation standards, and supports guest experiences through effective communication and leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in food service, catering, or hospitality.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid TABC Certificate.
• Must possess a valid Food Handler Certification.
• Premium dining or banquet operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of food orders to premium suites.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, suite attendants, and runners.
• Verify order accuracy, quality, and presentation before delivery.
• Direct and coordinate Food Runners for timely service.
• Monitor ticket times and prioritize orders to maintain standards.
• Communicate menu changes and dietary requests between suites and kitchen.
• Resolve service issues and guest concerns related to food delivery.
• Support replenishment of food, beverages, and service items.
• Maintain expo stations and service areas; assist in setup/breakdown.
• Train and mentor Food Runners on service standards and safety.
