Job summary

Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, NV is seeking a part-time Specialty Room Server to deliver high-quality food and beverage service in a specialty dining venue. You will demonstrate menu knowledge, take and serve orders, and ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service.

You will contribute to a safe, efficient dining environment, support teammates with running and beverage service, and assist with compliance to gaming laws and internal controls. 21+ with English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a full-service dining venue.
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, and beverages.
• Present menus and use suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input into POS system.
• Serve food and drinks according to standards and process payments.
• Address and resolve guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction; communicate issues to management as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
• Support team members with food running, side work, and drink service as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company policies and procedures.
