Job summary

Rossen Landscape in Sterling, VA is seeking an Irrigation and Lighting Technician to service, repair, and install outdoor irrigation and lighting systems under contract with clients. The ideal candidate will install and troubleshoot systems, read design plans, work within budgets, and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Interprets and follows a lighting and irrigation design plan.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, services, and repairs residential landscape lighting and irrigation systems.
• Works within budget of time and materials.
• Proficient with Aspire software or similar production software and Microsoft Office.
• Minimum 2 years irrigation and lighting crew experience; relevant vocational training acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.
• Certifications such as CIT or CID preferred; Virginia backflow certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain irrigation systems to optimize plant growth and water distribution.
• Install and maintain landscape lighting systems; troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Maintain water features and manage seasonal adjustments as needed.
• Perform snow service and winterization when required.
• Participate in special projects and adhere to budgeted hours.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance while operating systems.
