Responsibilities include following HACCP guidelines, operating cutting equipment safely, and assisting with stocking and presentation of products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years as meat clerk or related role.
• Proficient in meat cutting techniques and products.
• Understanding of food safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, grind, and package various cuts of meat per specs.
• Present meat products in a sanitary, attractive manner.
• Assist in receiving, rotating, and stocking meat products.
• Follow HACCP, FDA, and local health regulations for safety.
• Help customers with inquiries and special orders.
• Operate and maintain band saws, grinders, and slicers; ensure cleanliness.
• Collaborate with team to meet department goals.
