Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a Meat Cutter to ensure the Meat Department is clean, fresh, and inviting. You will assist customers, trim and display cuts, and help manage stock and pricing in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of meat-cutting experience or completed an Apprentice Meat Cutter program, plus fluency in English. Ability to work in cool environments and lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years meat cutter experience or completion of a Cutting Test.
• Apprentice Meat Cutter training program and on-the-job training.
• Fluency in English; Spanish desired.

Responsibilities

• Trim and cut beef, pork, poultry and related products for display and sale.
• Wrap, weigh and price products with attention to tare weights and shrink.
• Greet customers and assist in locating products; suggest related items.
• Stock displays and rotate perishable items; remove damaged products as needed.
• Assist in receiving merchandise and verifying quantities and quality.
