Qualifications

• Experience in meat retail, grocery, food service, or customer service.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Interest in premium meat products and willingness to learn cuts and preparation.
• Basic knife skills or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work fast-paced.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation or willingness to learn.
• Dependable and team-oriented, aligned with Citarella standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with meat selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Display products attractively and maintain freshness.
• Receive, inspect, and organize deliveries.
• Stock, rotate, and replenish meat displays.
• Assist with basic meat preparation, packaging, weighing, and labeling.
• Monitor storage temperatures and inventory rotation.
• Maintain clean and sanitized counters and work areas.
• Follow all food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Handle knives and tools safely per procedures.
• Collaborate with team to support daily operations and guest satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
