Job summary

The Premium Lead Cook at Levy at T-Mobile Arena oversees prep, cooking and station leadership, ensuring recipes and safety standards are followed for high-volume events in Las Vegas. The role requires strong culinary skills and the ability to run a kitchen station with minimal supervision.

Candidates should have extensive culinary experience, be punctual, reliable, and able to obtain SNHD Health Card, ServSafe Alcohol Card, and Non-Gaming Card.

Qualifications

• At least up to seven years of culinary experience.
• Be punctual, reliable and available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays on event basis.
• Adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required work cards including SNHD Health Card, ServSafe Alcohol Card, Non-Gaming Card.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English in written and oral form.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and bend.

Responsibilities

• Run a station within the kitchen without constant supervision.
• Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use. Performs scheduled routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy. Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Reports issues to management.
• Possess fundamental skills of the kitchen, including seasoning, knife skills and organization.
